Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Whilst we always work to ensure the information on this website is up to date, accurate and useful, we recognise that some of the themes of the ‘Looking out for our neighbours’ campaign don’t naturally complement

Government guidelines relating to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Always follow the most recent government and NHS guidelines to ensure your safety and protect others. These guidelines can be found at nhs.uk/coronavirus and gov.uk/coronavirus

We thank you for your continued support with the Looking out for our neighbours campaign.

Being a good neighbour is easy!

Kirklees Written by local resident, Jenny Frankland

I am a council tenant in Kirklees due to my daughters disabilities and we live next to mainly elderly neighbours. Whatever time of year, me and my partner always help our neighbours. Usually by gritting their paths, knocking on their door to see if they need anything from the shops, taking stuff to the tip or even running them to and from the shops if they need extra help.

They also help us by bringing ours bins in if we haven’t already etc. I love my neighbours and wider community x
