“I’ve got older people living next door to me on both sides so I knock on the door and make sure they’re okay”

Leeds Written by local resident, Stuart

I’m 67 years old and in the community, what I like to do, I’ve got older people living next door to me on both sides so I knock on the door and make sure they are okay.

It bucks them up quite a lot really, it makes them feel better. I just make sure that they’ve got the facilities what they need – their food, their milk, their water, and that everything’s good and they’re still smiling. Little things like that mean a lot.
