Reaching out a helping hand

My elderly next door Neighbour is in her late 70’s. She’s had a knee replacement and has no visitors except me, so I go and keep her company over a cuppa for about 45mins 4 or 5 times a week. It brightens her day.

I also take her with me to the Soupdragon on Fridays – she certainly perked up and now goes out into town.

My sister also stayed at my home following knee replacement until she was fit to go back to her home.

I enjoy helping people as it has a good feel factor about someone being grateful for your care.
