Looking out for our neighbours

“We regularly visit patients and we regularly see their neighbours”

I’m one of the nurses from the Airedale Collaborative Care Team. We are a community team, visiting patients in their own homes. We regularly visit patients and we regularly see their neighbours. We see that neighbours call in to check that patients are ok. We are trying to recognise and prevent loneliness – Ilkley good neighbours and neighbours in general are there and they’re vital for that patient when they might need it most.
