Buying speakers sparked a friendship

My boyfriend went to buy some speakers and got chatting to the guy in the shop. It turns out that he lives across the road from us with his girlfriend, so we had a BBQ together in the summer which was really nice.

This week we invited him to come to the cinema to watch the new Star Wars film with us as we knew he really wanted to see it but he didn’t have anyone to go with. We all really enjoyed it and had a great time getting to know each other more.

I’m not originally from Leeds and most of my close friends are elsewhere so it’s been really nice to reach out and build a connection with someone so close by! We’re definitely going to continue spending time together.
