At HARCVS, we are very happy to support and promote the ‘Looking out for our neighbours’ campaign.
Working with local charities and volunteers across Harrogate District we are inspired every day by how the gift of time has such a positive impact on everyone involved. We see how even the smallest acts of kindness can make such a big difference to someone who may be feeling lonely or struggling with everyday tasks.
Our HELP volunteer drivers and befrienders also often help their neighbours in more informal ways too. Carrying bags, helping with the bins, chatting over a coffee and just listening, or even a smile can really make someone’s day.
