Simple things you can do

Winter wellness

The colder weather and darker days can make winter a difficult time for lots of people, especially those who are older or more vulnerable. Factors like financial pressures or mobility issues can make it hard for people to stay warm at home, and bad weather can discourage people from leaving the house. These all increase the risk of getting ill or becoming socially isolated.

There are lots of simple things you can do to help your neighbour stay safe, from calling in to check their house is warm, to offering them a lift to get their flu jab.
