My neighbour helped me get my key out of the drain!

I had gone for a run, clutching my house key in the palm of my hand.. and as I was running just threw it into a drain… I couldn’t lift the drain cover, my housemates couldn’t lift it- it was too heavy! As we were coming home accepting defeat, my neighbours partner was arriving next door, said hello, and asked how we were. They came to look at the drain without any hesitation, lifted the cover, then proceeded to very nearly fully get inside the drain to reach the bottom to retrieve my key!

I couldn’t believe they managed it and I had my key back!
